It has been a trying, exhausting, and long week. We got the Jeep back, again.
This time they said it was the water pump and the thermostat. It doesn’t sound that great, but we’ve driven it around and we will attach the trailer in the next day or two and take it up Vail pass to see how it performs.
Hopefully it will be okay.
With and without the Jeep we had a busy and fun week.
Last Friday we did a really cool thing in Keystone. If you haven’t done this yet, you must. It is so much fun. Friday’s in Keystone June – September on Friday’s they let you go up the gondola (normally $23 per adult) for free. When you reach the Summit they have the grill and bar open from 1-7 and they have a band playing from 4-7. They also have fun games for the kids and adults. You should definitely check this out.
The views alone are amazing. It is a really fun thing to do on any Friday.
Saturday we went to Breckenridge and listened to the National Repertory Orchestra. They were amazing.
Sunday we went to Copper Mountain and listened to Blood, Sweat, and Tears. It was a really enjoyable afternoon. Bo Bice, from American Idol is their lead singer, they put on a great show.
Monday we took some friends to Vail and walked, and shopped, and had a lovely lunch on the river.
Tuesday, we were near Denver so we went to the Air Force Academy Chapel. We thought it was amazing and took some really great pictures.
Wednesday, we drove to Garden of the Gods, and then on to Rye, Colorado to check out Bishop Castle. It was really cool.
We had a great and very fun week. It was jammed packed of fun sightseeing.
Thursday we vegged out and watched TV all day.
Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend. I’ll let you know what we do. 🙂
