Once in a lifetime experiences come on rare occasion, happenstance, or can be charted and followed so you get to be involved and witness such experiences.  Items and places on “The List”, my bucket list is definitely witnessing the Aurora Borealis – Northern Lights, an eclipse and one that is happening now, The “Super Bloom” in Death Valley, California.

A Super Bloom is a magnificent display of flowers.  Park Rangers say this is not to be missed.  The last two Super Bloom’s happened in 1998 and 2005, it has been over a decade, so this should be spectacular and who knows when the next one will be.  It could be another decade?  Can you imagine, driving towards Death Valley and seeing gorgeous blooming flowers as far as the eye can see, amazing!

So, if you are planning a trip to Las Vegas or California, rent a car so you can witness this spectacular event.  It will definitely be a photo opportunity not to be missed.
